Residential Real Estate Senior Associate

Responsibilities and requirements

The role
  • Provide guidance and assist sellers and buyers in marketing and purchasing property for the right price under the best terms
  • Determine clients’ needs and financial abilities; propose solutions that respond to those needs
  • Intermediate negotiation processes; educate clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements, and related matters, ensuring a fair and honest dealing
  • Perform comparative market analysis to estimate properties’ value
  • Display and market real property to possible buyers
  • Prepare necessary paperwork (i.e. disclosures, offers, applications, leases, agreements, statements, etc.)
  • Maintain and update listings and database of available properties
  • Coordinate with appraisers, escrow companies, lenders, and home inspectors
  • Develop contacts, network, and make recommendations to clients for attorneys, mortgage lenders, and contractors
  • Promote sales through advertisements, marketing campaigns, open houses, and listing services
  • Remain knowledgeable and informed about real estate markets and best practices
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a real estate agent
  • Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Pleasant demeanor, coachable, accountable, and trustworthy
  • MS Office/Google Suite familiarity
  • Laptop or desktop computer
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Massachusetts real estate salesperson’s or broker’s license
