Associate, Commercial Brokerage

We are looking for talented and motivated Commercial Associates to assist clients in all phases of the real estate process of buying, selling, and renting property. This position’s responsibilities include prospecting buyers and sellers as well as renters and landlords, marketing listings, showing properties, preparing necessary paperwork, and providing supportive transactional guidance to clients. Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and assist sellers and buyers in marketing and purchasing property for the right price under the best terms
  • Determine clients’ needs and financial abilities;  propose solutions that respond to those needs
  • Intermediate negotiation processes; educate clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements, and related matters, ensuring a fair and honest dealing
  • Perform comparative market analysis to estimate properties’ value
  • Display and market real property to possible buyers
  • Prepare necessary paperwork (i.e. disclosures, offers, applications, leases, agreements, statements, etc.)
  • Maintain and update listings and database of available properties
  • Coordinate with appraisers, escrow companies, lenders, and property inspectors
  • Develop contacts, network, and make recommendations to client for attorneys, mortgage lenders, and contractors
  • Promote sales through advertisements, marketing campaigns, open houses, and listing services
  • Remain knowledgeable and informed about real estate markets and best practices

 

Qualifications:

 Proven experience as a real estate agent or willingness to learn

  • Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Pleasant demeanor, coachable, accountable, and trustworthy
  • MS Office/Google Suite familiarity
  • Laptop or desktop computer
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Massachusetts real estate salesperson’s or broker’s license
