Market Report: June 2022

Summer is officially here! While you are enjoying some fun in the sun, why not take a moment to look at some of the trends we saw across the region during the month of June?

In Cambridge, inventory has proven to be tight. The number of single-family homes sold decreased 75% year-over-year. 6 homes were sold compared to last year’s 25. On the other hand, the condo market remained relatively stable and saw only a 3.5% decrease in year-over-year sales. Average condo list prices were up 5.4% and days on market remain substantially down.

Boston continues to show varying trends across its different neighborhoods. While the number of condos sold in the Seaport decreased 50% since 2021, the number sold in the South End increased 7.2%. The single-family market continues to be tight.
