Where are you from? and Where do you live? 

I’m from Belchertown, MA and I currently live in Cleveland Circle in Brighton!

What are your day-to-day responsibilities? What does your typical day look like?

As the Director of HR and Administration, my tasks can really range so I don’t have a “typical day.” Some of my tasks include working on our hiring projects, checking compliance on changing federal and state policies, managing payroll and benefits, and managing our Administration team. I also work on onboarding and offboarding team members, keeping track of employee anniversaries, and monitoring our review process. Some days I’m even fixing computer issues. I’m always focused on ensuring the office is running smoothly, that our employees are happy, and that we’re handling everything as efficiently as possible.

How long have you worked at Senné? 

I’ve been here for just under 3 years!

What were you doing before this? 

I was previously a project manager for a healthcare non-profit. 

Where did you go to school? 

I started at UConn studying pharmacy, but then went to the University of New England to study chemistry. I finished my degree at UMass Boston with a major in business and minor in chemistry.

What’s your favorite part about your job? What’s your favorite part of Senné? 

What I like best about my job is that every day is different. I love that there is always room to improve and evolve to make things better for the company and everyone on the team. The idea that I can help improve everyone’s work experience is really exciting to me. I’m constantly looking to make things better whenever I can. While there are difficult days on the job, I’m always focused on remaining positive and ensuring we make Senné a happy, comfortable, and motivating environment. 

My favorite part of Senné are the people. I’m constantly inspired by the talented people I work with. I love seeing everyone working together across their departments. The company provides everyone with an opportunity for growth and to find their right place in the company. 

What would your clients (or coworkers) say is your best quality? 

I’d say my willinging to take on any task with a smile on my face. I like to think I have a good attitude and am always willing to help wherever I can. It’s in my nature to always make time to help. I want to see this company succeed and I plan on being a part of making that happen. 

How do you like to spend your time outside the office? 

I absolutely love to be outside. I love to swim, hike, run with my dogs, paddleboard, kayak, ski, play soccer, you name it! I also love food, wine, and craft cocktails as I previously worked in the restaurant industry. I’m looking forward to going to concerts now that things are reopening. 

What’s a fun fact about you that your coworkers may not know?

I love being barefoot! One time I even hiked over 10 miles without any shoes.
